Cognitive Screening

Cognitive Screening

Via Cognitive Health offers a straightforward and essential process for those interested in assessing their cognitive well-being through cognitive screening. By signing up for a screening, individuals can gain valuable insights into their cognitive health, potentially identifying areas for improvement or the need for further evaluation.

Screenings are held every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Please sign up for a date that works best for your schedule. Two people maximum per date.

Via Cognitive Health’s staff can provide a Baseline Memory Screen. These types of memory screenings are an important aspect of overall brain health and well-being. Using the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), this FREE screening offers a non-medical evaluation that includes consultation for next-step recommendations and program options. More than 500 studies have shown that MoCA is superior to existing cognitive screening tools. You may ask, “What’s the difference between the test my doctor gave me and the MoCA?” In short, the MoCA is generally better at detecting mild impairment and early Alzheimer’s disease because it’s a more sensitive test and is more challenging. The screening only takes about 15 minutes and is administered by a Via Cognitive Health certified and trained professional. To register for a free baseline memory screen, please complete the form below.
